Season of Breakthrough

Yay changed my first blog song to "I Am Free" instead of "如果我变成回忆"!
Cos that song is very emo, and now is a season of faith:

  • Building fund in 10 days!
  • Exponential growth!
  • Financial Abundance!

"Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. Therefore arise and build the sanctuary of the LORD God..." (1 Chron 22:19)

Quest for the Key of Travel

Last night after cellgroup, my mum and I went for a birthday party of my 6th uncle. I'm hardly close to my relatives so thank God for an opportunity to know them better :)
We didn't visit any relatives during Chinese New Year holidays so this felt kinda like a CNY visitation haha.

Even though I'm not close to my relatives, I'm closer to 3 of my cousins: Rebecca, Nicodemus and Nathanael (family of my 6th uncle)

I'm so proud of Rebecca and Nicky!! Both of them are leaders in their church and doing pretty well in their work and studies respectively!

After the event, we boarded bus 73 to Ang Mo Kio. However as we were alighting, mum couldn't find her EZ-Link. Nevertheless, she got off the bus to keep the Bus Captain from waiting. Thus we headed to AMK Bus Interchange to report the loss.

My mum explained to the staff that she must have dropped it in the bus as she tapped her card upon boarding. I believed that the bus would probably have left by the time we reached the interchange, and we won't be able catch it. However, thank God that the bus was parked!

So the quest for the lost EZ-Link began. The bus staff told us to wait while they went to search for it. Well, they couldn't find so they brought us along. I had a feeling of faith that we're gonna find it, so I told my mum that it will be found. I prayed before going up the bus and started what I'd like to call "ocular scrutiny" :3

We thoroughly searched the seats and underneath them with the lights on and even with a torchlight, but it was nowhere in sight. After about 5 mins of searching, my mum told the guy to contact her if they managed to find it. We were almost gonna stop searching, but I clearly felt God saying that it will be found, so I examined the seats where we sat once more.

There was nothing stuck between the seats, but I spotted a corner of what seemed to be a transparent plastic holder sticking out at the side joining the seat and the bus wall. I fished it out and thank God - it was the missing ez-link card!

Indeed God protects our belongings as we tithe!

Oh yea, the Chingay mobile platforms passed our place! Took photos and videos of it, but yeah, my handphone camera is lousy :P

A Chinese Valentine

Hey guys,
I went for usher support duty last Thursday to prepare for Chinese New Year service :)
I reached there about 7pm but I couldn't find the place. I went to B2 but it was empty. So I went further down to B4. The lift doors opened to reveal darkness and some dude with a torchlight. He was doing something with the auditorium door lol.

Thus I went up to level 4. There were a couple of youngsters making music. It was some Christian song, but I can't rmb what it was. I only know it was hilariously terrible :X
The classical guitar was very out of tune and the singing was even more so. XD
However, there were no ushers in sight, so I proceeded to rooftop.

They were not up here either, so I sat down and started calling people to ask where it was. Various people said it could be at drive-through area, so I went there. Lo and behold, a factory line was in progress!

The whole team was here, making the gift boxes - putting oranges and hongpaos into a red box.

Boxes lined up, ready for a little orange input.

Everyone hard at work

Thousands of boxes stacked in front of the prayer 365 board lawls.

Went to get a drink at rooftop. Man it was dark outside.

Carton loads!

This is one section, there's plenty more!

Jeremy was here too :D

Orange Rejects

Yay! We ended the day with 12000+ gift boxes! O.O

Yesterday, my whole family went to eat at Sakae Sushi :)
We had a special room to ourselves! The food is good (I tasted better though)

Well that's all I've got! Here's wishing everyone a Happy Chinese Valentine New Year Day! May you receive lots of flowers and hongpaos! May this year be full of love and prosperity! XD

Fall Of Arthas

Guys, I've got tragic news....

Arthas Menethil,
former Crown Prince of Lordaeron,
former Paladin of the Silver Hand,
first Death Knight of the Scourge,
the Lich King,
has fallen at the hands of Azeroth's heroes.

The Lich King Slained,
1st by the Blood Legion guild.

May we all take a moment of silence to honour the greatest and coolest video game character that ever lived.

Achievements:
- Betrayed his friend Muradin for the Frostmourne
- Defeated Mal'ganis the Dreadlord
- Murdered King Terenas, his father
- Betrayed his people
- Killed Uther, his Paladin mentor
- Changed Sylvanas Windrunner to a banshee slave instead letting her die peacefully
- Destroyed Silvermoon, the High Elf Citadel
- Reanimated the necromancer Kel' Thuzad as a Lich
- Killed the Archmage Antonidas, leader of Kirin Tor
- Ensured the summoning of Archimonde the demon lord
- Crushed the human survivors of Lordaeron
- Killed and reanimated Sapphiron, the blue dragon
- Killed the Forgotten One
- Defeated Illidan Stormrage!
- Survived the journey to the Frozen Throne
- Merged with Ner'zhul to become the Lich King

Arthas, Paladin of the Silver Hand

Arthas, Death Knight of the Scourge

Okay, maybe he has slight issues with his moral values, but HE'S SO COOL.

He looks so awesome with long white hair, wielding the Frostmourne. His armour is so slick and cool - not to mention the Crown. Man I wish I could cosplay as the Lich King one day.

Frostmourne Hungers.

Korah

Just read pastor's daily devotion, and I just realized that the Korah who led the rebellion against Moses is the same Korah who is a forefather of the Levites.

The sons of Korah were gatekeepers of God's house and attended to the tabernacle. I love the sons of Korah! They were the ones who wrote lovely psalms:

Ps 42
1 As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?

11 Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.

Ps 84
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

I never would have thought that their father would have done such a thing. God is truly gracious to the sons of Korah! Also to Aaron, who made the golden calf for the children of Israel, who spoke against Moses. Indeed if one is willing, God can use him no matter what failures they've made! :D

3rd Zone Meeting!

Yay! Went to Zone Meeting last night! It was a great meeting full of joy! I only wish I could worship God freely, cos I was playing guitar. I didn't have much sleep the past few days, so didn't play too well :X

Thank God for showing up still :) The grace of God transcends skill!

This time, Tan Jin and Chui Laam went into a camera frenzy and took tonnes of pics. These are what I stole from Facebook :P

I like the camera composition for this one!

Jin and Chui, the trigger-happy cameramen

Woots! Jin's birthday is today! We wished him happy birthday over the phone at 12am!

After that, we went to fellowship until 1am. Ate the popular bar chor mee :D
We spent the time talking about the Bible. We started talking about the book of Genesis, Dinosaurs and the Pre-Adamic Race. Then we jumped to Revelation and started talking about the Great Tribulation, the Rapture, the Millennial Reign and the final Judgement.

Okay, we covered the whole course of time. Chui Laam was rather affected when Weiren started talking about getting tortured during the Great Tribulation hahaha.

Cabbed back home with Jeremy and Waiyin (thank God, else it would be super exp)

W406 is gonna grow to 70!
WR Zone is gonna grow to 400!
May God ONLY be glorified!
